We stayed here in 2010. Near the town of Oloron Saint Marie, it's in a great position near the Col de la Pierre St Martin – a brutal climb up into Spain.
The place is nice, and located at the top of a nasty short climb out of town, which certainly dials up the pain after a day of riding (think, 15%+).
There is accommodation attached to the house, in a B&B style.
There is a big outdoor barn, in which are rooms for accommodation. We stayed in one of these; 2 bedrooms and our own kitchen. The room we had, did not have a lounge/couch which was a bit of a bummer.
There are other rooms, including one for a couple up on the balcony, which is a bit more spacious, but has no kitchen. There's a communal kitchen though, so you can eat pretty cheaply.
There's an outdoor pool, games room and a sitting room overlooking the valley.
There is Wifi, but it doesn't extend much beyond the house; given the router is inside, and the house is solid stone, the signal doesn't propagate much beyond the house.
Aramits itself is small, and has a decent supermarket, and coffee up around the corner toward Arrette, in the Leffe Bar.
It's an easy 15km into Oloron Saint Marie, a much bigger town and about 40 mins to Pau.
This is a great spot to base yourself to launch into the Atlantic Pyrenees – the Aubisque, Marie Blanque, Pierre St Martin, Soulor.
The Tourmalet, Hautacam, Peyresourde, Port de Bales, d'Aspin, d'Aspet are all nearby too (say within 100km), but are more in the mid Pyrenees.
John and Margaret are welcoming hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area.
There are no credit card facilities, so bring cash, or organise to pre-pay (via Paypal).
