Etape du Tour medical certificate
All Etape participants need an Etape du Tour medical certificate.
The Etape du Tour medical certificate must be filled out in a precise manner, or else you can be denied entry to Etape when you register in the days prior.
The list of information you need to include on the Etape du Tour medical certificate includes:
- Doctor's name
- Your name, DOB and age
- Place of issue, and date
- Doctor's signature
- Doctor's stamp including name, practice name/address/phone, and registration number
It might also pay to print off a spare blank certificate in case you're told that the one you have isn't sufficient or is missing information.
If you have a spare, you can book an appointment with a local doctor and get the correct information. (In this case, you'll probably need to know soem French, or have a smart phone with a translation app like Google translate. Go here to find prepaid mobile internet SiMs for France.)
Below is an image of what information your Etape du Tour medical certificate needs.
If the doctors imprint doesn't have their name, registration number and clinic adress
make sure they add it and initial the handwritten information.
